In the context of the recent changes in the Brazilian Arbitration Law — which affirmed the arbitration within the public sector — the Brazilian Chamber of Arbitration in the Public Administration (CAMBRAAP) was created as a solution for conflicts involving the Public Administration, in a way to unburden the Judiciary and in order to promote the economic development of the country.

The numerous particularities of the conflicts involving public entities, which are not addressed by commercial arbitration chambers, require a specialized chamber, adapted to the Public Administration. With an innovative vision, the CAMBRAAP was born as a cutting-edge service, in a way to ally the efficiency of arbitration proceeding to the particularities of public entities.
